Doing a rightclick then a leftclick makes the app for the most part unresponsive
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: Using Fedora Silverblue 38 and "Files" version 44.1
Steps to reproduce
- Open Files
- In the blank space between folders do a right click followed immediately by a left click (do both clicks almost at the same time but still in order right then left)
- Spam that in a rapid succession until the rightclick menu stops appearing
- The app is now frozen (see current behavior) and impossible to interact with, if it didn't work repeat from step 2 it will eventually happen after a few tries
Current behavior
"Closing" the rightclick menu by left-clicking outside of it rapidly make the app freeze for the most part (some functions still work like mouse-over interactions, but the program basically becomes unusable until restarted)
Expected behavior
The rightclick menu should close when the user left-click outside of it no matter how fast he does so
Additional information
I've been using the app the same way since Fedora 35 and only recently did I notice this happening, my uneducated guess would be it started happening with the port to GTK4
