Wrong icon in the sidebar favorites when creating / mounting a bookmark from a remote directory
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: 44.x from Fedora 38
Steps to reproduce
- Visit a remote location like sftp://someserver/foo/bar/baz
-
Ctrl+D
to create a bookmark
Current vs expected behavior
In previous versions of Nautilus, bookmarking a remote folder would bookmark with the remote icon, like the one at the top in this screenshot:
In Nautilus 44, it bookmarks it with the regular folder icon (the one on the bottom), so it's impossible to distinguish from a regular folder bookmark once you've renamed it to a simpler name (like "Blah website").
Edit:
- When you "unmount" it, it reverts to a remote location icon. However,
- When you click on the bookmark again, it gets "mounted" and switches to the "local folder" icon for the bookmark
