Copy/Cut & pasting files in treeview does not take currently selected folder (or folder of current selection) into account
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: 44.0
Steps to reproduce
- Open the listview with treeview activated, with multiple subfolders (let's call them A and B), with files in each
- Unfold two of the subfolders
- Copy (
Ctrl+C
) or Cut (Ctrl+X
) a file from subfolder A, use the keyboard arrow keys to move inside another folder, and try to paste (Ctrl+V
)
Alternatively, step 3 can be trying to paste into a totally separate folder/window that also uses unfolded treeviews.
Current behavior
It moves/pastes the file into the root directory of the current view, instead of pasting into the correct subfolder (like it used to do in versions 42 and older).
Expected behavior
The Ctrl+V
keyboard shortcut should always be mapped to "Paste into Folder" where the target folder is the one containing the current cursor focus/selection in the listview.
Additional information
Tested in the Xorg/X11 GNOME session.
