Multiselecting a file partially obscured by the window will cause nautilus to jump so that the file is within full view and will clear the previous multiselection
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: I have not tested yet
- Other: Gnome Nautilus 43.2
Steps to reproduce
- Fill a directory with files
- resize the window so that a file is partially obscured
- hold ctrl or shift for a multi selection.
- select a file that is fully within the viewing window
- select a file that is partially obscured by the viewing window
- observe that the window scrolls so that the obscured file is fully within view, and it deselects the previous selection.
Current behavior
Multiselecting a file partially obscured by the window will cause nautilus to jump so that the file is within full view and will clear the previous multiselection
Expected behavior
I expect that I should be able to multiselect a file that may be partially obscured. I don't expect the window to jump to the last clicked file, and I don't expect it to clear the previous selection on jump.
