Opening a video from Nautilus spawn Totem which does not play the video.
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: 42.2-2 (on Debian)
Steps to reproduce
- Open a directory containing videos.
- Double click a Video
Current behavior
Nautilus starts Totem, but Totem does not play the video, a bit like if totem was not told to play it. Hitting play
don't help, as if totem didn't even had the video path.
Expected behavior
Previously the video was played as soon as totem showed.
Additional information
Starting totem from the command line with the video path as first argument do works, that's why I'm not opening the issue in Totem.
Feels like Nautilus don't tell totem which video to play. As Nautilus don't spawn totem by itself, my tentatives to debug stracing nautilus went nowhere.
I found that nautilus probably uses dbus, but I'm bad at reading dbus-monitor.
It may not be nautilus fault, but this point I don't know where to poke around, I don't know what component has the role of actually spawning the totem process, so I don't really know where to search, don't hesitate to tell me.
