Gnome should have right-click mount option
I have placed this bug with gnome-disk-utility. I think that a feature in nautilus is the correct place to put this. The issue is that if you want "auto-mount" the instructions are to go to the gnome disk utility and remove default switch. The reason one needs auto-mount is if one has a data partition, one needs this for "recent-files" that point to the data drive to work properly. This is a very common setup for medium level ubuntu users.
I think that right click on drive to setup auto-mount (which gives rights to the user) is intuitive and logical even though it is a task of the gnome-disk-utility. However, there is overlap, and nautilus does do mounting tasks. This will put ubuntu or gnome one step closer to easier to use.
