Shift+Ins shortcut pastes filename instead of file
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS, GNOME nautilus 3.36.3
Steps to reproduce
- Select a file.
- Copy file (using Ctrl+C or context menu).
- Press Shift+Ins to paste.
Current behavior
The filename is pasted into the search bar (affected by #634 (closed) which has been fixed in the nightly build).
This behavior is similar to this very old bug which affected the Ctrl+V shortcut. This might or might not be a related issue.
Expected behavior
The file should get pasted/duplicated.
Additional information
There is a triaged issue about this topic (#358 (closed)). I think that issue has become partly irrelevant, because the observed behavior regarding Shift+Ins is different from what I am experiencing.
Of course I would also like to be able to copy and cut files using the Ins and Del keyboard shortcuts, but this request is also included in said triaged issue.
