Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes (40.rc-114bd747)
- 3.36.3-stable : Yes
Steps to reproduce
- Do a search in a folder (with sub-folders) ex. «.JPG»
- Do rename : «.JPG» to «.jpg»
- If some «.JPG» of the selected items result are inside subfolders : CPU Load 100% and nothing else happen.
- (If the selected items result are in the parent (so, without subfolders) : it's ok)
exemple :
- PHOTOS (folder)
-- item1.JPG (file)
-- item2.JPG (file)
-- LANDSCAPE (folder)
--- item3.JPG (file)
--- item4.JPG (file)
Resume
- a search + batch rename in landscape is OK
- a search + batch rename in photos (including landscape) is CPU 100% and do nothing (even 10mn waiting)
Sometimes it crashes Nautilus with this message :
