Moving a dialog in a Nautilus window moves the whole window (resizing it in some cases)
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Yes
- Other: distribution: Ubuntu 20.04.01; app version: GNOME nautilus 3.36.3
Steps to reproduce
- Perform any action that makes a dialog pop up.
Example one:
- open Nautilus twice, each in a different folder.
- move a file from one of the Nautilus windows to the other, making sure the file already exists in the destination folder.
- a dialog should show up asking if you want to replace the file, with a button to Replace or Skip.
Example two:
- in a Nautilus window
- right click on a file
- select Properties
- a dialog should appear with the file's properties
- Click and hold on the title bar of the modal that just appeared
- Drag your cursor to try and move the modal
Current behavior
The whole Nautilus windows moves along with the dialog. Moreover, if the window is snapped in place in a corner, moving the dialog moves the window which snaps it out of position and resizes it.
Expected behavior
It should be possible to move the dialog by itself, without carrying the whole window along.
Additional information
Not sure what other kind of information I could provide. I tried recording a GIF with the behaviour but failed miserably, sorry.
