Automatically size the batch file renaming dialog's width to fill a minimum size up to Nautilus' window width
By default, Nautilus' batch renaming dialog always has the same width:
This width is not useful because in 90%+ of cases, I can't see what I'm renaming (or search-and-replacing) because the text gets ellipsized.
Instead, Nautilus should automatically figure out the available space, based on the width of the parent Nautilus window, and try to enlarge the width of the renaming dialog as much as needed to fit a more reasonable amount of text in two columns, like this:
You could also probably auto-size the height (based on the number of items/rows/etc.) to avoid vertical scrolling in many cases, too.
See https://fortintam.com/blog/dont-make-me-scroll/ for some general tips on ways this can be approached. This is probably a good low-hanging fruit fix to work on for newcomers.
