Remembering passphrase for unlocked volume offers no way to forget it
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: yes
- Other: 3.32.3-stable (Fedora 29)
Steps to reproduce
- Connect a LUKS-encrypted drive
- Enter passphrase and and chose "remember" (or "remember forever" in nightly version)
- Change your mind and decide you want Gnome to stop remembering the passphrase
Current behavior
There is no option to make Nautilus forget the passphrase. You have to install Seahorse to go find the stored item "Encryption passphrase for XXX" and then delete it.
Expected behavior
Nautilus should offer an easy-to-find option to forget the passphrase, in much the same way it offers to eject a drive, for instance. At the very least, it should be in properties.
Forgetting the passphrase, which may have been remembered by mistake should not require arcane knowledge that "Seahorse is the Gnome password and keys manager and i should install that to manage this secret" to remove the secret :)
Additional information
It is probably well known, but Seahorse also makes it possible to easily show in clear the secrets to anyone with access to the unlocked computer, without requesting user password. This shouldn't be the case, user password should be required, as it is for package install.
