Show hidden files in search when the search string starts with a dot
Use cases
I have the setting "Show Hidden Files" switched off, meaning my hidden files and folders are not visible when browsing my files. I would like to use type-to-search to open the folder ".local", which is a hidden folder. With my home directory open, I start typing ".loc" but the folder does not show even though it exists in this location.
Desired behavior
Since my search string started with a dot, the ".local" folder should appear in the search even though it is a hidden folder.
Benefits of the solution
This way, users are able to open hidden files/folders without having all of them visible when browsing local files.
Possible drawbacks
I don't see any. Please comment if there's something I missed.
