Double-clicking a folder sometimes opens another, recently visited folder
Affected version
- Nightly flatpak: Can't test it because I don't have the time, and it's very unlikely that the issue has been fixed.
- Other: 3.26.3, 3.26.4 (at least)
Steps to reproduce
- Create a set of folders with the following structure:
- A
- B
- C
- some other files/folders...
- Browse the folder B, then go up one level, to A, by pressing backspace. Then immediately double-click on the icon for folder C to enter into it.
Current behavior
Very frequently, instead of visiting folder C, the program goes back to folder B again.
Expected behavior
Folder C should be visited.
Additional information
What appears to be happening is that when you go up from B to A, if you double-click the icon for C while the contents of A are being read from disk and the thumbnails are being refreshed, the program registers that you have double-clicked something, but after the thumbnail refresh has finished, the "selected folder" reverts back to B. Hence, the program thinks you double-clicked the icon for B instead.
