Remaining time calculation is flaky
Here are a couple of scenarios where it worked poorly...

When copying to a drive that had not yet spun up, it had copied zero bytes and estimated many thousands of hours. I suggest not giving any ETA if zero bytes have been copied.

When copying huge numbers of small files, it sustained an ETA of a few seconds for about 30 minutes.
I know these are very small issues, but it's the kind of polish people will be judging Linux by.
