Nautilus can't rename a file or folder to more than 1 character on vmhgfs-fuse mounted volume
Steps to reproduce
From within a Fedora 29 guest installed as a VMWare Fusion guest on Mac OSX:
- Mount a host file system using vmhgfs-fuse .host:/ /mnt/hgfs/ -o allow_other
- In nautilus, select a file or folder and try to rename it.
- As soon as the name is more than a single character long, a the dialogue says "File name too long" or "Folder name is too long"
Reproducible in:
- Flatpak unstable: Unable to test (yes or no)
- Other: nautilus-3.30.5-1.fc29.x86_64
Current behavior
See above: nautilus can't rename a file or folder to anything more than a single character long.
Notably, using "gio move" to rename a file or folder works fine.
Expected behavior
It should be possible to rename files and folders to more than a single character.
