Move away from GTK3

Carlos Garnacho requested to merge carlosg/mutter:wip/carlosg/no-gdk-display into main

Port the X11 display away from GTK3, and remove GTK3 as a dependency from the Mutter library/executable.

Should be merged together with gnome-shell!2655 (merged)
