[41] backend: Copy damage rectangles to secondary GPU when available

Hi. I am not sure if this is possible but I thought I would ask.

I was wondering if !2033 (merged) could be backported to Gnome 41? In this way it could join !1879 (merged), so all work on damage clips for secondary GPUs would ship in Gnome 41. To me this change seems quite benign, hence low risk, and with a release of 41.2 in early December it could hit distros before the end of the year.
