The application is not responding. When clicking on "wait" the shell does not respond to anything
When I launch an application that loads some big data, I am informed that this application is not responding.
Description of the problem/behavior:
- If I click on "wait" - the shell does not respond to anything, and I have to switch to ttyX and remove the application process manually. After that, the shell is restarted.
- If I click on the "force close" - no problem
- If I wait some time after loading the application (about 3 seconds), the dialog disappears by itself and everything works well.
What I'm using:
- ArchLinux 64-bit
- GNOME 3.32.2 on Xorg
- Intel® Core™ i5-6200U CPU @ 2.30GHz × 4
- Integrated graphics: Intel® HD Graphics 520 (Skylake GT2)
- Discrete graphics: NVGF 920mx (the application was running on it, last Nvidia driver, last bumblebee)
It would be nice if I could at least increase this interval. I found a way, but it obviously does not suit me, because every time after updating the mutter I will have to compile it manually.
Edit: in the example of bug reproduction, even when you click on "force close", the shell hangs
