Opening the three dots (application menu) in GTK applications renders clicks in other windows void until one returns to the original window and clicks outside of the menu
Affected version
- Arch Linux
- Affected GNOME Shell version: 46.0
- Wayland
- Happens without extensions
Bug summary
Steps to reproduce
- Open GTK application like Gnome Calculator
- Open three-dot menu
- Click somewhere else on the screen, outside of the current window,
What happened
It didn't let me go on with my day without having first clicked outside of the menu, inside of the current window.
What did you expect to happen
That it would let me click anywhere outside of the menu to deactivate it and go on with my day. This is standard behavior in all OS:s and desktop environments. I first thought GNOME had frozen and that I had to reboot.
