Option to interpret styli as touch rather than mouse
At the moment, using a stylus (in my case, Wacom) results in the input events being treated as mouse rather than touch events, i.e. drawing a line is interpreted as dragging to select rather than scrolling. This affects all GNOME apps, for instance Nautilus. This is highly inconvenient, because while a stylus is more precise than touch, it's still not even close to the precision of a mouse. So handling small objects, such as scrollbars, is both difficult and inconvenient. Click events are also difficult, a stylus always drags at least a bit. Browser usability is also a big issue, it's natural to flick the pages, rather than search for the scrollbar always.
As it is, it's quite a strange situation: in order to use the tablet more conviently, I need to sue my fingers rater than the stylus, which seems contrary to the whole idea of the stylus!
So styli should be interpreted as touch devices, or at least there should be an option to do so.
