Mouse pointer follows landscape screen orientation after suspend instead of the one that is set

Bug summary
I have screen orientation set to portrait. After going out of suspend the mouse cursor behaves as if screen orientation is set to landscape. The bug disappears after launching any application, which has to be done from the keyboard, since using the mouse is not convenient.
Steps to reproduce
- Set screen orientation to portrait.
- Suspend.
- Unsuspend.
What happened
Mouse cursor now moves as if screen orientation is set to landscape.
What did you expect to happen
Mouse cursor to follow portrait screen orientation.
