crash when dragging window between monitors (with different scales)
Affected version
- Archlinux 64bit
- gnome-shell version 1:45.1-1 as packaged by archlinux
- wayland only
- I do not have any extensions active
Bug summary
gnome-shell crashes with a coredump when I drag certain windows between my two monitors with screen scales 1x and 2x, respectively.
Steps to reproduce
Have gnome via wayland on two monitors with screen scale 1x and 2x. Compile a simple bevy game (bevyengine.org) and run it. This creates a window you can drag around.
When using the wayland backend of bevy and dragging the window between the monitors, gnome crashes.
This does not happen if: either gnome is running on X11 or bevy uses the x11 backend for xwayland.
What happened

What did you expect to happen

I attached the output of
$ coredumpctl gdb
(gdb) thread apply all bt full
