GNOME 45 overview doesn't handle four finger swipe on touchscreen over window preview
Affected version
GNOME 45.rc (Fedora 39) - Wayland
Bug summary
Steps to reproduce
- Have a touch screen device like a laptop, be in desktop mode (tablet mode is not supported on my unit under Linux, GNOME heuristics detect it as a regular touchscreen laptop)
- Open the overview
- Attempt a four-finger side swipe gesture on top of an open window in the overview
What happened
The open window gets dragged around as if a single finger had been used
What did you expect to happen
The view should slide right to the next workspace.
You can also see in the video that windows spaz out and get teleported, and the wrong virtual desktop is selected when one is automatically removed (it snaps you to the next one over instead of the one you should be on)
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
