Firefox windows and other browser related windows getting "stuck"
Affected version
I'm currently on Nobara Linux 37 (fork of Fedora) running Gnome 43.2 on Wayland (although I'm not sure if this issues is also there on XOrg).
Bug summary
Sometimes windows, mostly web browsers or electron apps, just get way slower in terms of frame rate when maximizing them again after a certain amount of time (it usually takes a few minutes of the window being in the background, while I'm working in other windows) and for example in Firefox the window just can't be dragged anymore after that time. Edit: Something I forgot to add: The window also just doesn't resize properly, it just seems to be stuck in one size. You can change between full screen and minimized, but the title bar of the app isn't adjusting to the new size of the window (as well as the entire content of the window).
Steps to reproduce
- Just work normally and have a Firefox window or electron app running in the background for like 10-20 minutes (there isn't really a certain time, but it just tends to break after a while).
- After a while, try dragging the Firefox window or the electron app. Some apps like Visual Studio Code also get slower and aren't usable with them sometimes breaking completely.
I'm sorry, but I'm not really sure how this even happens, I just wanted to let you guys know.
