Moving a window stutters (sudden fps drop) when there are other windows behind it

Bug summary
When moving a window with the mouse* the moving animation is smooth until there are mother windows behind it, then it stutters (drawing FPS drop suddenly).
*: (by clicking the window title and dragging it or by pressing the ALT key and clicking anywhere in the window)
Steps to reproduce
- Have at least 5-6 windows open of various applications.
- Drag the window with the mouse cursor around slowly (by the window title or by using ALT+click)
- Drag the window in an area where it empty, in smooth motion
- Drag the window in an area where there are other windows behind it, in smooth motion
What happened
The window movement gets stuttered heavily
What did you expect to happen
The window movement should remain smooth and not stutter, just like in the empty area
