When event popover is open app appears always first in Alt-tab list
Affected version
- Latest version available in Fedora
- Flathub (42.2 - ba13309ea85578a349ae3ed96bd18d306fd82cb05c9d8ee0718259398ebc7de7)
- Wayland (not tested in X)
Bug summary
When the event popover is open (the popover that appears when you click an existing event in the calendar), Calendar icon in the Alt-tab list in GNOME Shell is always first, no matter what you do, it appear always first in the list of apps, like it's pinned there, making difficult and confusing to quickly switch to that app. The problem disappears once you close the popover (by click anywhere in the calendar window).
This doesn't look like a GNOME Shell issue since Files behaves normally when it has a popover open.
Steps to reproduce
- Go to the Calendar window.
- Click an event, a popover with event info should appear.
- Press Alt-tab once to switch to latest app.
What happened
GNOME Shell switches to the third app in Alt-tab list skipping Calendar icon. Calendar icon appears first instead of second when you do Alt-tab again.
What did you expect to happen
GNOME Shell should switch to the latest app you used before Calendar, leaving Calendar icon in the second place in the Alt-tab list.
