Screen orientation lock is broken for suspend/resume
GNOME 42 on a Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1
Steps to reproduce:
- Enable orientation lock (Super+O)
- Turn laptop on its side (portrait)
- Close the lid
- Wait for laptop to suspend
- Turn laptop back to normal landscape mode
- Open the lid
What happens:
- Laptop is stuck in portrait mode (screen is sideways)
What should happen:
- Laptop should never switch to portrait mode while orientation is locked
To recover:
- Disable orientation lock (Super+O)
- Turn laptop on its side
- Turn laptop back to normal orientation
- Enable orientation lock (Super-O)
This happens regularly as I'm closing the laptop to put it in a backpack
