Left and right black stripes with only the top left of the actual content highly scaled up on secondary screen after wakeup from suspend
Affected version
- Fedora 35
- Mutter 41.rc
- Wayland
- AMD 5850u
Bug summary
Sometimes, after waking up my laptop from suspend with an external screen connected, on my internal screen there are two black stripes left and right with only the top left of the actual content on this screen in-between, highly scaled up. This also applies to the mouse cursor on the secondary screen.
However, when taking a screenshot everything looks alright
This can always be fixed by toggling (and applying) a display setting (e.g. refresh rate) back and forth.
Relevant logs, screenshots, screencasts etc.
That was in the journal, however, I have no idea whether it is related.
