Mouse Keys "left-click" not recognized in gnome-shell system menu in Wayland session
Description of problem: Mouse Keys do not fully work as expected in a Gnome Wayland session.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Fedora Workstation 33, fully up-to-date. Gnome version 3.38.4 Mutter version 3.38.3-2.fc33
How reproducible: 100%
Steps to Reproduce:
- Enable 'Mouse Keys' in the Accessibility settings.
- 'Left-click' on the system menu in the top-right corner of the screen by moving the mouse cursor over the area and pressing '5' on the keyboard's numpad. This is meant to simulate left-clicking with a physical mouse. The menu should now be displayed.
- Move the mouse cursor over an option, such as Settings, and 'left-click' on it by pressing '5' on the keyboard's numpad again.
Actual results: The menu disappears and Settings is not displayed.
Expected results: The menu disappears and Settings should be opened. This is the result if you use mouse keys in an Xorg session. This is also the result if you left-click with a physical mouse.
Additional info: Mouse keys do generally work as expected in Wayland, but I have noticed some instances like the example above where the left-click action does not seem to be registering.
