Starting mutter freezes my computer
Calling weston
is executed instantly, but calling mutter --weston
freezes my computer for very long time.
The output of strace -o strace-mutter -s2048 -yy -v -tt -ff -T mutter --wayland &> mutter-out
is mutter-slow-strace.tar.bz2.
Unpacking it and calling strace-log-merge strace-mutter
shows where the system spends time. After 19:42:00 I kill
ed mutter, so the entries afterwards are irrelevant.
How can I fould out, why my system freezes, when I start mutter
?
