"Locate cursor" in Universal Access has unintended side-effects?
When I install I normally activate "locate cursor" very quickly. But I have found it to be a problem since Pop!_OS 19.10:
$ uname -a
Linux pop-os 5.4.0-7629-generic gnome-settings-daemon#33 (moved)158983451220.04~ff6e79e-Ubuntu SMP Mon May 18 23:29:32 UTC x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
When I press the key to activate the locate cursor function, it has unintended effects in different contexts:
- Selected text: it will de-select the text or delete the text
- Menus: it will close and collapse the menu
This makes it very difficult and sometimes impossible to use the ctrl button to activate "locate" as well as use the ctrl button in its normal function in the OS.
