Firefox windows stop updating when scrolling or interacting with web pages
Affected version
Fedora 32 GNOME Shell 3.36.1 Mutter 3.36.1 Wayland
Bug summary
Since upgrading to F32/3.36, I've noticed that scrolling or clicking on complex web pages (e.g., YouTube, Twitter), often results in the browser window getting stuck. Although it still processes input, the window does not update on the screen unless I switch virtual desktops or go to the Activities overview or otherwise interact with GNOME Shell.
This doesn't happen very often or at all with simpler web pages.
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa Intel(R) HD Graphics 620 (KBL GT2)
Steps to reproduce
- Go to Twitter
- Scroll up and down for a few moments
