When closing a gnome app, window size stored for that window is changed (Wayland, 200% scaling)

Bug summary
Each time a gnome application is closed, its window size increases both in width and height at the time of storing its state.
Reproduced in gnome 3.36 with wayland using either nouveau or nvidia and 200% display scaling. This does not happen using X11.
No gnome shell extensions are enable nor installed.
Steps to reproduce
- Open a nautilus window
- Close that nautilus window
- Repeat steps 1 and 2. The windows is bigger each time it is opened.
Reproduced in gedit, totem, system monitor and nautilus. Other apps might be affected too. Not yet tested.
