Meld doesn't show missing files in folder comparison
Consider the following scenario:
$ mkdir a b
$ touch a/foo a/bar b/foo
$ diff -qr a b
Only in a: bar
$ meld a b # displays 'Folders have no differences'
The behavior is as such regardless of file a and/or b being empty. Meld seems to only show files present at both sides in folder comparison. If a file or a folder is missing at one side, Meld just ignores it. But it seems like a crucial folder difference that should be displayed (as the diff
output shows). The current behavior should be an optional feature in the View or Comparison submenu.
This one also partially explains the 'Folders have no differences' result in #768, furthermore they might be related.
