offer non-CSD mode
Hey.
I think it was meld 3.22 that must have added CSD mode.
Could you possibly allow for a non-CSD mode to be used with desktop environments that don't use client side decorations (e.g. Cinnamon, XFCE, LXDE, etc. pp.) E.g. gnome-terminal seems to do this, or at least on my DE it still uses non-CSD.
In my personal opinion the benefit of CSDs is anyway quite questionable,... the title bar is much thicker and only certain regions of it can be used to actually move the window around (as the others are buttons, etc.). But that's of course a matter of taste.
However, having CSDs in a non-CSD desktop environment is quite annoying, not only do they not nicely integrate in the overall view and sometimes cause issue with the context menu of the title bar... but there are many further subtle things that break, e.g. screenshots of a window-only cut of part of the border, as show e.g. in issue #713 (closed).
Thanks for consideration, Chris.
