flatpak meld doesn't see /tmp (git incompatiblity)
Problem
- I am using meld from the flatpak version (org.gnome.meld / 3.20.4 / stable)
- I have been using meld with git commands such as:
- git diff
- git mergetool
- With these tools git puts tempoarary file (e.g. old versions on a branch) in the
/tmp/
directory on Linux. - I used
Flatseal
to allow access bymeld
to/tmp

Expectation

I think the flatpak version should work for common cases like this
- Can the default configuration either include use of the
/tmp
directory, or - At least document what needs to be done to work with every tools like Git

Speaking of the environment.
- I keep seeing messages like:
ERROR: ld.so: object 'libgtk3-nocsd.so.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded (cannot open shared object file): ignored.
and Failed to load module "xapp-gtk3-module"
- These also look like configuration, installation or set-up problems.
- I keep seeing messages like:
