Image window autosizing aspect ratio is influenced / thrown off by long filenames, resulting in letterboxing
Reproduction steps
With GNOME 45 on Fedora 39:
- Download this image while preserving its very long filename
- Open this image in Loupe via Nautilus
Results on a 1920x1080 screen
Actual (letterboxed due to the filename) | Expected |
---|---|
Renaming the file to "foo.jpg" before opening it with Loupe does not exhibit the issue, so it seems like the window size calculation is influenced by the length of the filename label / window title.
