Loupe does not automatically reload externally modified images at the correct time: "Operation was cancelled"
Testing with Loupe 45.0 on Fedora 39:
- open a big PNG (ex: 2 to 5 MB) image in Loupe (from Nautilus)
- right-click, "Open with…"
- open it with GIMP
- modify the image in GIMP, and use
File > Overwrite […]
During the overwrite operation, Loupe tries to reload the image, but once the overwrite is done, it fails to display the image, showing this instead:
What's even weirder is that flipping to the previous/next image in the folder, and back to the problematic image, Loupe is then still unable to display it, until you exit Loupe and launch it again with that image.
This happens consistently/everytime.
