Close open image details `i` by ESC button
Similar to fullscreen
view, cancel by escape it would be nice if an additional ESC
button function would be to close the i
details image pane after it was opened manually. And others maybe possible (ESC
already closes expanded menue when clicked).
Proposed Work flow:
- open image
- full screen image (e.g. double click on image)
- open details of image pane (e.g. click on
i
in fullscreen window) - select
ESC
button - observe cancels fullscreen
- select
ESC
button again - observe cancels/closes image details pane
Note: alternatively ESC
could just always cancel last action, so No. 3 first then No. 2, depends on preference i suppose, but it would be nice if it cancelled something, while window is in focus.
Proposed Work flow 2:
- open image
- open details of image pane
- select
ESC
button - observe cancels/closes image details pane
Proposed Work flow 3 (further use case):
- open image
- rotate image
- rotate image one more time
- select
ESC
button - observe image rotation in 2. and 3. is cancelled and rotates back to original orientation
Just a improvement of life nice to have item to expand ESC
to other parts of the app.
Also other than ALT+ENTER
could ESC
button be added to shortcuts, since its in effect a shortcut of closing fullscreen view for example, or as discussed adding additional use cases above?
