Only open one window when selecting "Open With Louple" from within Nautilus or other File manager.
Currently for each image selected it will open a new independent Loupe window. There are use cases for this approach, but when selecting too many images it likely causes an issue (and is likely unintentional), and i think the more common work flow is:
- select images to open (by highlighting them) in file manager
- select open with Loupe
- page through images in a single Loupe window that opened of the previously selected images
NOTE: drag selected images from Nautilus into Loupe already performs a similar use case as well. This would make it maybe more consistent.
For use case where side by side image comparison is needed the following work flows could apply:
Open a new Loupe window by selecting a new group of images and select "Open with Loupe":
- select folder with images, and select image, or group of images and "Open with Loupe"
- observe new Loupe Window opens that allows user to page through images from selection in 1.
- from within Loupe select open new window with Loupe
- a separate Loupe window is added and ask to select folder, or image to view
- observe there are now three Loupe Windows open
NOTE: alternatively drag and drop images you want into that new window.
Use case: organized Loupe windows in a single window for quick and convenient image viewing of groups of selected images, instead of the user having to navigate between windows that are spatially separated on the desktop for each individual image.
