Basic support for video
Using Loupe 44.0 from Flathub:
This is probably out of scope, but thinking about user experience it could be interesting to think about this at some point. Most camera rolls, whether they come from cameras or phones, are a mix of photos and videos. On a trip for instance, you might take a photo, a photo, a photo, a video, back to a photo, then another video.
When I’m back on the computer and looking at the files from the camera, I don’t really think in terms of photos vs. videos. What matters is everything captured during the trip, in chronological order.
I’m not suggesting that Loupe should be a fully featured video player (that’s Totem’s job), or that Loupe should open video files as default. But when opening an image and browsing file after file, if there’s a video in the middle there, Loupe should ideally just play it?
