Appmenu retirement

This would fix #8 (closed), but from my point of view needs a design review as it seems to "unbalance" the UI by putting 3 items on the right side of the window (next level, primary menu, close button) vs one item on the left side (previous level).

Ideas are welcome on fixing the situation. As for the initial request, the headerbar looks like this with this MR applied.
