Feature request: testXPath --tree with wide output
Currently, testXPath
with the --tree
option outputs with indentation of no more than 25 positions.
I would like a command line option for testXPath that outputs the parse tree with no limit on the indentation.
I am using testXPath --tree
to generate parsers built of very complex xpath expressions, and I need the level of indentation to determine the nesting level. At the moment I use a hacked version of libxml2 without the limitation on indentation.
I tried to modify the code, adding a command line option, and passing an extra argument to the relevant functions to either set or not set the limit, but I got build errors about alias mismatches, and I couldn't figure out how to fix this.
