Restrict password access
I've recently started using libsecret (with the gnome-keyring backend, which has worked pretty well).
I've some simple programs that store passwords in it, but I noticed that pretty much any script can access these passwords too. I've been trying to figure out how to close this huge security hole that I seem to have created for myself, but can't figure out how to restrict access to the keyring.
How do I restrict entries so that only the program that wrote them can read them?
My keyring seems to remain unlocked once I unlock it, and adding this to the fact that any process can access it, means it's as secure as plain text files right now. :(
