NULL pointer passed to g_debug
Under OpenBSD, a bunch of lines like
4 Mar 4 17:30:07 host notify-send: vfprintf %s NULL in "SNAP name: %s"
3 Mar 4 18:00:07 host notify-send: vfprintf %s NULL in "SNAP name: %s"
are added to /var/log/messages. These appear whenever some program passes NULL
to the *printf
family of functions in OpenBSD. It seems that those come from notify.c, where the variable _snap_name
is passed to g_debug
without checking if it is NULL
.
