Add automated test build on ubuntu

Add automated builds on ubuntu to the gitlab ci workflow.
This was originally meant to also contain BSD builds, however the lack of an official looking docker image for OpenBSD, FreeBSD, and NetBSD caused that to be delayed for now.
The ubuntu build does not check for abi changes, because checking them on one distro should be enough afaik.
