Better errors for online services
When trying to mount an online service or other unavailable directory (e.g. from an FTP server), generic, counter-intuitive errors are given.
This example happens when trying to open Google Drive with no Internet connectivity:
Not expecting Google Chrome's dinosaur game, but a more intuitive "You are offline" error (or even "Can't access network) with a symbolic might be more helpful. Same for other HTTP and FTP error codes (403 --> "You don't have the rights to access this directory" , 500 --> "server's broken don't blame us", 404 --> "your fingers are fat" etc.)
