Description
https://wiki.gnome.org/Projects/gvfs/doc "Metadata are tied to the particular file or directory. If it's moved or deleted, changes are reflected to the metadata database the same way. It works very similar to xattrs. "
That's incorrect as it does not take into account files deleted using command line with rm command.
So saving lots of small files from firefox using gtk file picker and then deleting them using regular rm command does not delete them from the database store.
Is it possible to add some routine where gvfs-metadata database is autocleaned from obsolete entries?
Another question. Does this database implement aging (very old entries getting purged)?
Thank you.
