Description
Description of problem: If a USB mass-storage device with DCIM folder is present, the contents o a PTP camera attached will be ignored. Instead, the camera's contents will show up as what's on the USBMS device.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gphoto2-2.4.5-1.fc11.x86_64 gvfs-gphoto2-1.2.3-8.fc11.x86_64
How reproducible: Always.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Attach a USBMS device with a folder "dcim" in its root directory.
- Attach a PTP camera (in my case a Canon EOS 400D).
- Inspect the contents of the camera in Nautilus or ~/.gvfs. Note that it is what's on the USBMS device.
Actual results: USBMS device contents.
Expected results: PTP camera contents.
Additional info: gphoto2 ports listing with USBMS device and camera attached:
[james@rhapsody ~]$ gphoto2 --list-ports Devices found: 11 Path Description
disk:/media/CF--001G001 Media '/dev/sdd1'
ptpip: PTP/IP Connection
serial:/dev/ttyS0 Serial Port 0
serial:/dev/ttyS1 Serial Port 1
serial:/dev/ttyS2 Serial Port 2
serial:/dev/ttyS3 Serial Port 3
usb: Universal Serial Bus
usb:002,017 Universal Serial Bus
usb:002,004 Universal Serial Bus
usb:007,002 Universal Serial Bus
usb:001,002 Universal Serial Bus
Doing gphoto2 -L lists only the contents of disk:/media/CF--001G001, unless I add the option --port usb: explicitly.
Version: 1.6.x
