Description
I have lost 3 spreadsheets recently to this bug!
I can reproduce it with:
- Create a new spreadsheet (or just open Gnumeric)
- From the "File" menu, select "Save As"
- In the dialog box, click on a directory
- DO NOT CLICK ANYWHERE ELSE, just type a letter.
- Gnumeric dies
When I type the letter, Gnumeric doesn't change the name of the file being saved. What happens is the area with the directory name changes - it looks like a search box for the names of files in the directory. But that only appears for a second. After that, I get OSX's spinning beach ball and then Gnumeric dies. (And then OSX gives me the "would you like to report this dead program" dialog).
